Lincoln with the win at the Wurzels with 33% possession and 3 shots on target.

Over their ex-manager Skubala who left them to go on to 'bigger things.'

Lincoln in playoffs, Wurzels mid table.

It's a funny old game.

I said before a ball was kicked that all the Championship bloggers were underestimating Lincoln. Almost to a man they had them finishing bottom but I saw them and still do as a confident team, a team that takes its chances and one that never knows when it's beaten. Good luck to them, they deserve it.

The polar opposite to us last season and most likely this season too.

Horrible to watch but their effectiveness is hard to argue with.

Their foundation is built on a strong defence , if you dont concede you cant lose and they are extremely defensively sound 3 clean sheets in their last 4 games fair play to them

They have become very annoying. Their whole ethos is anti-football.

Yes, I'm jealous.

It’s a funny old game your right.

POSSESION as I’ve always said means nothing if you don’t score or win your games.

Let's be honest, how many of our fans thought we would (expanded) playoffs or there about after 7 games and Lincoln would be in the bottom 4?

I can’t say Lincoln were at the top of my thoughts when considering how we would do this season, but I’m sure some will now claim they were!

My season’s projection was that we should be ‘happy’ to bed back up in the Championship with a season that didn’t see us embroiled in a relegation battle, and despite a poor points start, I still think we will come through to secure a lower mid-table finish with the players we currently have! :ayatollah:
