Cardiff City agree a "substantial fee" to sign Jack Moylan from Lincoln City.

Personal terms or medical not expected to be an issue.

I think this would be a great signing.

He was named in team of the season last year for league 1. Scored 11 goals. Nominated for player of the season and scored a hat trick on his debut for Ireland a few weeks back.

I’d say he’s Lincoln’s best player. Hope we get it over the line

I agree 100%.

He would fit brilliantly in a BBM side and in my opinion would be less of a risk than the Norwegian lad.

This would be a great signing for the club.

Some very reliable sources now reporting this. Great signing although not tested in the Championship. Still 24 though so definitely fits a BBM type signing to improve.

Apparently Cardiff City are closing in on the signing of Lincoln and Republic of Ireland midfielder Jack Moylan.

Jack Moylan Striker 25 yrs old next month played well in the lower leagues

Just had a peek on Lincoln’s forum and they seem to think its a done deal and they are gutted about it

Some reports that Moylan has a £2m release clause, but someone on the Lincoln forum said the deal could be £5m.

Personally I doubt it's £5m, although I don't know.

Can't say I know much about this guy other than he must be good as he made league 1 team of the year and played for Lincoln.

Hearing you explain him as a dog in midfield though, 100% I'm sold.

We need to get a shift on signing this guy, turnbull is not the answer to midfield, Rubin will not start the season, wintle has gone the Norwegian never came.

Would not think so, as one is an attacking Midfielder the other a deffensive one, does not mean we are getting Dahl though!

yes I posted what the player said himself about hull that it
"would have" been nice to play in the prem
rather that it will be nice.

I'm more excited about Moylan than other fella. I think he slots straight into this team and division!!
