Is he not proud that he captained Wales ?
Not one mention of that at all?
Or did he just forget?

Some of his challenges would be a season long ban these days especially on Steve Nicol in the FA Cup Final
He was certainly a better player than I remember and I was also disappointed to not see a mention of Wales as I was there for his debut in the old Arms Park.
Great documentary though and love him or hate him, football misses characters these days. Footballers now are just bland because they have to be.
World Cups back then had players like Valderama, Campos, Milla, Baggio, Romario etc. Not saying Vinnie had the talent of this lot but like them, he had a personality and it made games and World Cups that bit more special.
What I am saying is I am old and miss the way football was haha.

Your right his challenges would not be allowed at all nowadays
But as you say a much better player than I ever thought as well
Love how he started his career

Nigel,
You’ve got it all spot on.
The 80’s were the best.
Sam loved Vinnie and his hard man and passion
A great watch

Remember a couple of 'golden' Vinnie moments. Chelsea played Sheff Utd (i think) in a home match, Jones got a yellow for a challenge 4 seconds in! Think it was quickest booking of all time.
Around 1990 Chelsea also won a match up at Anfield for the first time in decades, and Jones scored a screamer! Chelsea won 2-1.

It was really good. Some of those tackles were horrendous and I am sure in todays game he would have served some very lengthy bans. He made Stockport County look quite tame by comparison

Yes I’m not sure if holds the fastest yellow or red card?

I reckon some would be 10 match bans nowadays
