New championship playoffs

Playoffs in championship will change next season... it will mirror national league playoffs...
Here is hopefully an understandable explanation....top 2 still automatically promoted
6 teams will be in playoffs 3rd & 4th are automatically in semi final playoff game ...... 5th & 8th play one off game winner plays away at
3rd place team in one off game winner plays in final... 6th/7th same format winner takes on 4th place team away for place in final....
5th and 6th place teams play their first game game at home...
Hope this is clear..

No they are one leg 3 & 4 are at home in semi final winners of those games then go to Wembley...
If you read the details it does mention 2 legs but that refers to previously they are not doing it over two legs new way

Same as it is now but with an eliminator one-off game between 7th and 8th.

Oops this is the right one subject to ratification by efl

1st and 2nd are automatically promoted as normal.
3rd and 4th qualify for the semi-finals.
5th vs 8th, and 6th vs 7th in one-off eliminator ties at the home of the side who finishes higher up the league.
The winners of the eliminator ties progress to the semi-finals, to face 3rd and 4th in the format that currently exists - two-legged ties with the second leg at the home of the side that finishes higher up the league.
As per usual, the winners of the two semi-finals meet at Wembley for a place in the Premier

Will be a nightmare scenario if Cardiff, Rectum and the Jerks finish in the play off spots all together LOL

I know things change in life but they should leave the playoffs as they are.nothing wrong with the way it is now.

Dream ticket for sky! Not as outlandish as it seems...
But I put city as double promotion early last season

It's honestly not that bad. Look at this year's championship playoffs. 3 teams that deserve to be there and Hull, Wrexham and Derby fighting for 6th and looking out of their depth compared to the other 3
