I’m starting to get a little concerned. A very top end championship club is the type of club that I thought may well come in for him.

I'm not concerned at all.

There's not a chance he leaves us for Burnley, it's the entirely wrong fit.

I would bet my life that he won't be their next manager.

I hope you’re right. I think you’re right too, but money talks unfortunately. Personally I think they’ll go for Gerrard.
They’ll want someone who can go back up straight away and use a wad of cash wisely; BBM hadn’t proved that he can do that.

I just don't see him leaving us for a club that isn't the right fit, regardless of the money.

He knows if he continues to do well with us then a better opportunity which is more the right fit than Burnley will present itself in the future.

So I'm not remotely worried about it.

I totally agree with your reasoning though there are many other factors.
Will it make it easier to see more of his wife and kids?

Why isn't the Lincoln manager being linked with the job?

He's done an even better job with Lincoln than BBM has done with us.

I think his wife works a lot in London as a music presenter so probably helps that better if they stay in Cardiff.

Skubala has done a brilliant job and was rightly named manager of the season.

But some clubs will be looking for a manager that not only gets results, but also has their team playing attractive football. BBM has that, Skubala doesn't.

Not comparing the Stockport manager to Skubala, but that's probably the reason Challinor hasn't got a bigger job. He's been successful but they don't really play football.

But anyway, like I said, I don't see BBM going to Burnley and I doubt Skubala will be an alternative for them because of the reasons I've given.
