BBM:
“Salech is back in the very early stages of training with us.
“He trained for the first time yesterday with the group, so it’s good to have him back.
“He had an extremely serious injury, the likes of which haven’t been seen in football a lot.
“He’s had his first exposure to heading a football this week, and then heading the ball under opposition pressure, which he tends to get a lot of.
“So he still has some stiffness while he’s getting used to that again because he hasn’t done it for so long.
“Once we’re pretty clear that he’s back in a situation where he can train as normal and have no pain, then he’ll be good to go.
"But he's very close. Very close.
“He’s a very important player for us.
“He’s a very skilful player and a very good player, and there’s no doubt he gives us something different when he plays.
“Dylan has to be assessed after coming off in the game against Northern Ireland.
“Rubin hasn’t trained with us yet, so fingers crossed he’ll train before the game on Monday.
"I think Rubin didn’t seem comfortable with how he felt. He’s obviously a very, very important player for us in many different ways.
"So to get him back without being seriously injured was great for us. Now we just hope we can get him in a position, again like Yousef, where he’s fit to play and contribute to the team.
“Isaak Davies is more complicated than I thought. I thought he would be back training during the international break, but it hasn’t happened.
“He hasn’t had any setbacks, it’s just taken a little bit longer for him to get into a position where he’s been able to rejoin us.
“He had a slight hamstring issue and there have been some complications with that.
“He’s in a pretty good place, but the physio, James, isn’t totally happy that he’s ready to return.
“Part of that is maybe down to his history being a little bit complex, so we do tend to be a little bit more careful with him.
“But he seems almost ready to go, so it won’t be long.”

Monty we really got shot down, this had cost us the Title, but thankfully the teams chasing us have never been able to put a run together.
BBM has known all along that Salech would not be back.

I agreed with you both, not strengthening the squad in January was another big mistake and has already cost us the title imo.
Hopefully it doesn't cost us promotion. In 4-5 months we should be starting a new season in the championship.
It's very concerning that we have had no comms from the board on next seasons ambitions. Bottom line is, if we don't spend money on improving the squad then we are likely to be in yet another relegation battle.
Tan must sell for the club to move forward or we will be continuously in a world of uncertainty and have a split fan base, which is not good for the club.

I agree with you.
To be fair BBM got the job because he said accepted NO Transfer Money.
But any Decent Owner could See in January by Strengthening was the way forward and I believe we would of got the Title and probably Promoted this weekend.

Would have been nice to loan someone in for striker cover, but not sure purchasing in this division would benefit us after this season.
You either gamble on some potential and hope it comes good, at which point you’d have a player capable for next season in the championship, or you go for proven at this level but chances are they can’t step up next season.
Were there any experienced heads who could have done a job in this league looking for one last stint?
My preference was a young prem outcast looking to get game time. But we’ve got what we’ve got, we could bemoan it for the next few years or get on with it, we seriously need to strengthen in the summer starting with the owners

I will always disagree with people who say they are proved right that we needed a striker because I believe us who said we didn't need one were proved right.
Because the target was promotion. We're very likely to achieve that. I don't believe wasting money on a striker just to win the title was worth it. Whether that's all the fees involved in a permanent deal or wages involved in a loan deal.
I'm really pleased we didn't waste money on that, when we've already wasted enough money in recent years.

Sounds like Rubin may make the bench on Monday but I doubt we'll see the others in the squad for a while.

Ned you blow your own trumpet and also blow your top sometimes, what me and annis are saying we have been effected badly by not loaning cover for Salech and that cannot be denied and it has been proven we have slipped and lost the title have we not,
and our promotion is not guaranteed it's a hope we cross the line but 3 tough aways peterborough reading huddersfield and Bolton at home no given 3 points at any of these.

Well the feel good factor has gone and we would of been like Lincoln with a proven striker

Just sticking by what I originally said. I honestly don't think it was ever worth bringing in a striker just for a few months.
I know some think the opposite to me but can only say what I think.
Of course promotion is not done, you're right and there are a few difficult games left. But I think two wins will probably be enough, and I expect us to get those two wins.
I'll admit I'll have egg on my face if we don't go up though.

I hope you don' t have egg on your face , i was commenting on how I see it different to yours but fine with that, I just hope we don' t bottle and 11 point lead but the 2 behind us are emboldened we have to snuff that out at peterborough intherwise it's a very nervy fame at home to Bolton with 2 tough aways..

I think that a win is vital, and with Bolton also playing at home on Monday, our league points over them could be down to five points...before we play them next weekend. The pressure started before our home game v Lincoln, imo.

I’m with you all the way Rick, a Win is Vital this Monday
