For those going to the game on Saturday, and particularly those going by train, please be aware that there is a political rally going on in Wigan on the day of the match which you may wish to avoid..

When you get off the train turn left to go under bridge and head towards football ground.

The march, near moon under water, is two minutes walk to your right - if you want to avoid it

Anyway just letting you know

Good God, whatever delay it has got to be better than a cold windswept "springfield park" many years ago

Must be one of the worst stadiums (like a roman stadium with grass banks at both goal ends) standing on that grass bank with sleet and cold winds.

JJB stadium is a doddle :old: :bluebird: :bluescarf:

Thanks for the heads up. Are there any decent pubs for away fans allocated?

I believe the designated away pub is the Red Robin actually near the stadium
