I think if it's a nice warm sunny day we may get close to 17k I always find we get a slightly bigger walk up crowd if the sun is out

Was just thinking when guessing attendance do you think the reason why Sunderland did so well with a young squad was down to a sell out stadium for home games can you imagine the atmosphere if we had
33 ,000 I now we did not get near that in the championship but I think that's what happened to Sunderland they had full stadiums in this division teams must have thought they were at Wembley and cr.pped themselves

I fancy it could be a healthy 18 or 19,000 attendance for the first match.
People, like myself, who have not renewed the season ticket are still followers of the club and still have a deep interest.
Many will attend the first game or two.
I think it depends on performances beyond that, whether the club can sustain a good attendance, or whether support will drop off!

My views exactly that's why I put a 18,000 figure on it, first home in new division new manager new look team.

Its a massive game even though its the first, a good win will set the tone going forward, a loss will I believe in my opinion have a massive negative effect on not just the team but us as fans. Need a good crowd, id like to see 20k

We’d all love to see a crowd of 20k + but realistically I think with around 13k ST holders then we should be expecting around 16,000 +
Would be an excellent attendance in my opinion.

Agree.
Can't see Peterborough bringing many, especially as it's on Sky. Maybe 800 max.

Think their average away last year was 600, maybe first game, new stadium boost it up, day out in the City

Might we have to revise attendance if tan has finally given up and we have new owners on the way no excuses for the stay aways until tan is gone.

Monty certainly have clubs looking on enviously. That's for sure not many efl clubs get taken over with owners that are worth billions? But your right need to upscale your predicted crowd!
