MY VIEW: CARDIFF TOOK THEIR BIGGEST AWAY FOLLOWING SO FAR & CITY FOR ME LOST AND COULD OF LOST BY FAR MORE.
For me City were outplayed in the first-half and could of been been losing by more.
Southampton controlled the game end off.
Let’s please not blame the fog as both teams played in it or so called lucky goals.
We are not in the class of Southampton.
Southampton managed this out perfect 2nil up and never under threat.
We need strengthening big time in January.
FIRST-HALF: It was coming 11th min: Saints moved it from back to front effortlessly, with @AdamArma9 eventually stroking the ball into the top corner from just inside the box 1-0
15th min Saints score again , Armstrong again, clear header, City defence all over the place 2-0.
Cardiff played well for about 15 mins, but City then were back in the cosh and could of been 4 nil down.
SECOND-HALF: Southampton had the game totally under control, Bulut brought on Colwill , Tanner and Ugbo.
74th min: Etete came on for Grant, Ralls came on for Siopis.
Southampton could of scored again - Good stop from Rúnarsson to keep out Armstrong's powerful effort. (2-0)
Cardiff were 2nd in this game.
SOUTHAMPTON 2 CARDIFF CITY 0
H-T 2-0

Away Support 2,800
Cardiff City: Runarsson; Ng, McGuinness, Goutas, Collins; Siopis, Wintle; Bowler, Robinson, Grant; Meite.
Subs: Alnwick, Romeo, Ralls, Etete, Ugbo, Adams, Panzo, Colwill, Tanner.

It's madness in the Championship this season...
We are 18 points from the top 2 but only 3 points from the top 6
Equally, we are 11 points clear of where many thought we might be at this point...
KEEP THE FAITH, FELLOW BLUEBIRDS...!

Why do we ALWAYS start games so passively though?
No urgency, no aggression, no passion...It took us 20 minutes to get into their half.
Carrying too many passengers again today and could have been 6 easily.
Yes we're missing players, but Bullit can get more out of this squad.
Looked like they'd all been out on the sherry first 15 minutes.

It was frankly embarrassing today..Yes Southampton were excellent but the level.of aggression and press we showed today was not good enough. Pathetic actually. Our problems start with the keeper too. He is awful. Too slow and cant distribute. Our form has clearly dipped with him in goal. Need to quickly regroup and bring back Alnwick.

I personally feel we are way below Leeds, Southampton and Leicester

Lets all be honest. We are now comparing ourselves with the top 4 clubs when nearly every single one of us thought boring mid-table safety was the main priority.
We have a good manager who demands a lot from the players and more importantly the board !!
The top teams have 22 championship players sprinkled with a premier league class, we have far too many L1 players

We are well above where anyone thought we would be.

We were all going to be happy with 50 odd points and survival this season,we won't be far away from that outcome so no complaints from me.

You seem to have turned against him or at least that's the impression you're giving, did he piss on your chips or something ?

Said exactly that earlier. It was said he just wants truth in his interviews or something.

It’s a strange mentality. We are over achieving this season already. People expect us to go to Southampton and win it’s laughable. They are miles ahead of us. When we win a few nothing gets said one 2 losses against 2 sides who are better you get some people having a dig at bulut. Odd.

We’re a mid table side. If we win, Bulut’s a genius. If we lose, he’s rubbish. Where some people’s heads are.

Just took a look at the salaries, admittedly very few know the details, but Southampton pay £39 mill a season and we pay £15 mill. Ramsey, Robinson and Ralls wouldn't get into their top 10 earners, just to show some perspective

We barely laid a glove on Saints until 25 minutes in.
They were better than us but no surprise there. However, you have to ask why we weren't at the races for the first quarter of the match?
No aggression, little movement, no closing down quickly enough.
Saints could easily have scored 5. Tanner did nothing when he came on - Bowler should have stayed on the pitch. Pointless like for like subs and no change in system.
Can't see what Runnnarson brings to the table that Alnwick doesn't.

They were much better than us all over, but surprised so few have mentioned Ralls didn't start and we were slow to the ball and didn't have much aggression in the first 20 mins.
After a centre forward and his replacement, we urgently need to find Ralls replacement as 90 mins looks too much for him nowadays
