Keith Morgan:
He has been told the first installment of around €6m was paid this morning with a view to try and get the transfer embargoed lifted. The club is currently in discussion with the EFL and FIFA.
He has been told the club believes the discussions are progressing favourably and it is hoped there will be an update in the next few discussions.
Updated the background:
After 4 years of denying Emiliano Sala was a Cardiff City player and three different courts saying Sala was, today City owner Vincent Tan paid part of the money owing €6mill.
City Chairman Dalman says the total cost now is around £20million.

Im just interpreting it as the EFL one is outtrumped by the Fifa one so they've removed theirs and Fifa still stands. Until we see a player coming in or an official club statement best not to get excited.

Where does it say that ? Surely fifa direct the football league that we hadn't paid a transfer fee hence why they put it on there website ? .

Question is, why has it been removed. What has happened that we don’t know about to have us removed from this list but still on FIFA ?????
Good news but hope it’s just not a a typo error

I would assume the fifa one would be delayed due to time delays etc.
Would expect some news tomorrow.
Also a statement from the club, when they actually know what is going on themselves.

If Tan has paid €6million then he is actually finally admitting Emiliano was ours or is because he has been backed in Toms corner and finally admits defeat

I think they are going through a counter claim.
So the paperwork was valid as of sale. But now the claim for who was at fault, damages etc will go on.
Its going to be horrible the next year or so

Where does cardiff city chairman says total cost 20 million ? .
I personally believe it’s more , with interest, lawyers ,3 different court cases and fines.
This has been hung in years them denying Sala was not ours, it’s been shocking and disgraceful.
