He scored one goal in 64 appearances for the Baggies, not the best from a midfielder, we need two strikers this week

Played deeper for WBA than he did for Brentford, where he was more of an attacking midfielder getting goals and assists.
Still managed to get in the championship team of the year for WBA a couple of years ago when they got promoted.
Given we've got 4 midfielders who can play that deeper role in Ralls, Wintle, Adams and Rino, I think we'll see Sawyers play as a 10, similar to Colwill. Think it's a great signing for us.

Stephen McPhail seemed to have a similar goal scoring record and I’d be happy to have him here as he was with us a few years ago.
