Rav has sadly passed away RIP


It was always a pleasure to chat to him and had many a good laugh

what a gentleman he was, RIP. i remember being 13/14 in Ninian Park and i called an opposition player a C*nt. and another steward come over to have a go at us, and he stepped in, and said you can't use that word, but here are a few other words you can use....and told us a few swear words, absolute gent

Worked with dai for a few years bricklaying,only knew he was ill recently,always had a catch up when I seen him down the football,one of the nicest people I ve ever met,you will be badly missed my friend RIP

Out of all the stewards he was the calmest,most approachable, and most of all diplomatic.If ever there was a problem you just looked out for Rav.

Sad news. Such a familiar face and such a friendly man aswell.

He was an absolute legend that will be sadly missed. Back in the day on the ninan park terraces we called him Ravanelli and was adored by the fans!! The amount of times he saved my ass and stopped me getting arrested or banned over the years is ridiculous.... he always gave me a second chance, whether I was smuggling beer into the ground or drunk and disorderly and making sure I got home safe from Wembley, he always had our backs and looked out for us xx

This bloke should have hated me really, but he never did. We used to be an absolute nuisance to him in the 90's and he would just look at you and smile, the man must have had the patience of a saint.

For me, this man is a Cardiff City legend.
