Maybe we've gone for players but been out bid or rejected. In am confident Mackay will get the players he wants come the end of the transfer window.

Rebuilding takes time and patience is key.

All the signings made so far have been top.

Unlike Qtard, I was over the moon when we signed Miller.

I think we are so close to being there or there abouts at the end of season. We just need to spend a little. Maybe 5 million.

I would rather be cautious now and still have budget in Jan when we might need one or two to push in.

As far as i'm aware there are 28 days left in the transfer window so not really the time to moan, then the loan window too.

Sure we need a winger (maybe two) and perhaps another forward.

But at the begining we desperately needed:

A manager (MM)
A full-back (Taylor)
A Winger (Conway)
A potent goal threat
More functional and creative midfield players
Some youth to develop
To use our budget wisely

So quit bitching we are miles closer to where we need to be than we were when everyone was crying we still didn't have a manager.

mm will have money to spend, but only when he feels it is essential, we orig bid for goodwillie, we enquired about how much luke chambers would be and we also declared an interest in routledge.. all of these are around the 2mil mark.

if he has a limited budget then he is tryingnot to rush in and buy what wont improve what we got..

People have to remember that just because they are on a free ie unattached to a club, most players of any quality would want and expect a decent signing on fee when joining. Its all money gone out of the budget.

Some agents will successfully negotiate extra wages because of that too. For example when Recoba's contract was up at Inter years ago his agent argued that to buy a player of his quality would cost them 15m in that market so he should get it in wages otherwise he would bandy his name around to other clubs.
