Pay on the day

Hi Erol - any injury updates?

Bulut:"Right now we don’t have any injuries. Only small ones but not that anyone won’t be unavailable."

Erol Bulut needs to get the Bluebirds back to Winning ways and the football has gone down hill.

With only one win in their last 5 outings and 2 consecutive home defeats, The Bluebirds Faithful will expect to get back to Winning ways v Millwall home.

Erol Bulut on the injured players:

“Ramsey he’s getting stronger and fitter, hopefully we will get him back on the pitch soon.”

"O’Dowda, I saw him running next to us today! I was surprised! I hope before the new year that we can get at least one of those guys in”

“I won’t rush both of them back, they are running well.”

“But probably both January.”

The Opposition's Manager

Joe Edwards was appointed Millwall manager in November, his first senior management job.

He previously worked as Frank Lampard’s assistant manager at both Chelsea and Everton.

He also had a short spell as the interim manager of the England Under 20s team.

Opposition Dangerous Players

Tom Bradshaw has had a slow start to this season, but last season he scored 17 league goals - his joint best season.

Zian Flemming also had a good season last season, with 15 goals and 3 assists. This season he has 4 goals and 2 assists.

Head To Head

We have lost three of our last five games against Millwall, winning just one of those.

We lost both league games last season, not even scoring in either of them.

Our last win against them came at CCS in a Championship fixture in August 2021.

Team News - Predicted Line-Ups

Cardiff City: Runarsson, Ng, McGuinness, Goutas, Collins, Siopis, Wintle, Robinson, Bowler, Grant, Meite

Millwall: Bialkowski, Leonard, Harding, McNamara, Wallace, Longman, Mitchell, Honeyman, Norton-Cuffy, Flemming, Nisbet

Last Game

We lost 2-0 at Southampton last Saturday.

On the same day, Millwall drew 1-1 at home to Sunderland.

Match Odds

Cardiff City - Evens
Millwall - 5/2
Draw - 9/4

Postby Forever Blue » Sun Dec 03, 2023 7:03 pm

Ramsey and O’Dowda both out till January.

Karlan Grant is back after not being available for Albion game, as he is on loan from West Brom.

Jamilu Collins is back after a one match suspension.

So far:

And not back till at least January:

In 21 League and Cup appearances Ramsey has only made 6 appearances for Cardiff City this season.

O’Dowda In 21 League and Cup appearances this season has played even less, just 4 appearances.

Millwall are on a terrible run, only won once in their last 9 games and that was against bottom of the table Sheffield Wednesday

Anyone know how Ramsey got injured? Was it a bad challenge? If he just broke down with a serious injury without an impact then i think it may just keep happening. Good while it lasted i suppose, worth it for the derby performance but i don't think we should be planning for a future with Ramsey in our side this season. If he's available, it's a bonus

Millwall duo suspended for clash

Millwall duo George Saville and Jake Cooper will be absent for tomorrow's game at Cardiff City Stadium due to suspension.

Saville was cautioned by referee James Linington last weekend for asking the official to show a second yellow card to Jack Clarke after the Black Cats winger pulled back Brooke Norton-Cuffy.

Both teams not in the best of form and are equal in the last five games(1 win,1 draw,3 losers).
Difficult windy conditions could result in a tight low quality and boring game with not much goal action.
Probably a0-0 but with my blue glasses on I’ll go for 1-0(NG) :bluescarf:

Millwal not without opportunity this far but the Bluebirds look the more purposeful and some ecent work has seen them thraten the Millwall defence mre than once; Karlan Grant and Jamilu Collins combining well up the left... :ayatollah:

Too slow and ponderous again. Not had a shot at goal yet. Bulut just doesn't get them going quickly in games. Could be a long afternoon if we concede.

An odd game at the moment with both sides trying but with no end product.
Goutas very lucky not to be yellow carded for a mdield (proessional) foul that was allowed to carry on. The resulting chase saw two players clash and the game stopped for treatment.

For me, the referee has been consistent in letting te game flow until he cannot..

A drab first half saw good chances at both ends but with Millwal the unluckier not to take the lead

Erol Bulut will have a lot to say at alf-time...

Robbo shit out of everything this half, and if I see him throw his hands up again I’m going to lose my shit!

Bring Rubin in, give him the keys.

Very flat first half in a flat stadium.

Literally nothing has happened.

To be fair Grant, Bowler and Ng are trying to make things happen but there’s little help for them.

Millwall have clearly come for the draw.

Could do with Colwill to open it up a bit.

Drab is putting it politely. We've gone completely off the boil. No energy, too slow and poor passing. Starts with the keeper and then goes through the team. Colwill and Meite on immediately please.
