Marlon and Sol, will they be in contention next week if not this weekend?

NEIL WARNOCK:

"In Sol’s case, we expected him to be nine months and it’s just about seven now. In his case, he does need a competitive game before he comes in. He is joining in training, but it’s just a bit different when you’re playing against opposition."

"We’re not rushing him, because the longer he goes, the stronger he becomes. I think if we had injury problems we might put him back, but we want to be 100 per cent that he’s OK. And Marlon has trained this week with the first team and we tried to it properly, because you do tend to want to rush people back and then you regret it. So we’ve got to try to eliminate the recurrence of that."

"I will listen to what the physios have to say, I’ll have a meeting with them in 10 minutes’ time."
