That's a disappointing crowd imo considering Wales' current form and the very low ticket prices.

I think that's excellent considering its a friendly and no offence to Norway they are not the most popular team

For the price it should have been more.
But lots of people didn't know the price.

I think its especially important at international level because of the limited time they have together.

Does anyone know if friendly results impact on the rankings?

Not until we perform in the quals will get a crowd to play in the mill stadium, regardless of price. When do though we are 2nd to none. Highest average attendance in Europe the year we got to the playoffs.

12637 crowd atmosphere was pretty good - and every time went quiet and stale band kicked back in to lift fans

may city fans need a band to wake the 22k that for asleep for almost 90 mins every home game

this could be the answer - canton stand made a great effort today and standing back wards to game kicked in today is that ready for when we knock blackburn out and play man city :ayatollah:

any way well done to all who made an effort to watch wales today and what a win first two goals were crackers quality of the best first class

Yer I must agree, and the first half football was really good considering what they have serviced up in the past. :ayatollah:
Fe Godwn ni Eto we shall rise again !

Was a great crowd given a friendly higher than some of the qualifiers crowds. The amount of young kids there with free scarves was encouraging. The Barry horns fantastic and an overall great day out. The football we are playing is nothing short of sensational a good Norway team looked clueless against our movement and passing. I hope to post a video later capturing a Welsh Poznan, and the NO TEAM GB banner that stewards took down in the Canton stand. WALES WALES WALES

Crowd was 12,637

Another great day at the CCS :ayatollah:

I love watching Wales :ayatollah: :D :ayatollah:

Why people dont attend for £10 I dont know, especially as Wales fielded a full strength team.

The signs are really encouraging for Welsh football, still a bit of work but thought we played some lovely passing football.
The free scarves was a superb idea, my three boys now have scarves and hopefully will take them to more Wales games.
Great to have the band there - lifted the crowd when it went a bit quiet...............really enjoyed the day!

Aye, a dead meaningless qualifier with tickets at £25 & £15. Which crowd do you think the FAW are happier with?

Coming on here and trying to take the moral high ground about crowds when all football fans know that your attendences are piss poor, you averaged 15,000 in your promotion season and as far as this season is concerned our lowest crowd will still be bigger than your highest crowd of the season!!!!!

Which is purely down to stadium capacity, not lack of demand.

And that has nothing to do with my point.

Gary Speed and the team now have to win the back the fans that were lost after 2 or 3 years of bad results ....... personally Ive never stopped watching them and have been at the Mil Stad with less than 12,500 there and NO Barryhorns either ! Well done yesterday to Wales and well done to all of us who turned up for our free scarfs or not :ayatollah: :D :ayatollah:
