A forum for all things Cardiff City

Namely Will Buckley and that Cardiff rotated which player was going to foul him so that they wouldn't get booked, he also goes on to say that the referee failed to protect his players against this treatment.
I don't know what you guys think but I am really disappointed with those statements as overall we only committed 1 foul more than Watford and lets face it their CB Taylor wasn't taking any prisoners.
Anyone agree with what he is saying because if there is one thing I think about Cardiff is that our players take a lot more rough stuff than we ever dish out.

Was this the fairy who thought he was in a swimming pool with his dive down the canton end?
If so he was going down easier than Jay normally does right f*cking pussy

I don't agree with his comments at all. Just admit you got beat, poor loser.

Sour grapes Malkay.

The scoreboard doesn't lie MacKay.
If your team is that dependent on one player then you ain't a very good manager, son.

Seeing as the ref basically let them do what they wanted it's a bit rich.
And the Ninian Stand Linesman, didn't look like he'd ever officiated a game before.

If we did, and it worked then f'ckin great. Well done Jonesy.
We've never been a dirty side, bad loser.

So I am guessing he totally missed the blatant handball that happened infront of the Ninian in the second half? Was the most obviously handball in the box I have ever seen!.

Ref was awful today. I wish the standard of ref would improve after all we pay good money to see our team play week in week out and more often than not a shite decision is made that can be costly.
Yes it is a hard job but some things are right in front of their eyes grrrr.

Malky looked like a loser today, has soon as he stepped off the bus.
he looked feared up and had a face like a bull terrier chewing a wasp.

Agreed. I think its a bit out of order that they are going on about respecting the officials.
People would respect them more if the quality of refereeing was to improve and if we could hear their justifications for the decisions (like in Rugby).

Mackay and his assistant threw their arms in the air at EVERY decision that didn't go their way today. EVERY single one.
It was embarrassing at times. I'm all for managers/coaches who are committed but they should have been committed!
Take anything he said with a pinch of salt!

simple really. you dont pass to your team mates, and try to take everyone on at a fast pace, your gonna get tackled, and when your running at pace, a defender cant be 100% accurate where his foot ends up.

I can't believe he said we were rough when McNauhton was knocked out cold by an obvious dangerous challenge, what game was he watching??

Maybe Mackay should have taken some time to have a look a MacNaughton as I'm sure he had one or two scars of war yesterday.
Of course they were a complete accident no intent whatsoever

As the manager he had the choice to protect his own player, should moved him around the field or had taken him off the field , sour grapes indeed

That guy was a disgrace, he literally bottled giving throw in's and everything, just looked to the ref who didn't have a clue either. Awful officials.

That handball was really done with both hands and the ref put his whistle in his mouth to blow, but then he realised the decision would have gone to us and not Watford. Can't believe how one sided he was and the linesman with the green flag looked to the ref for every decision before raising his flag. The challenge that knocked out Mc Naughton wasn't even give as a foul. Agree - an awful set of officals.

I'm very disappointed by Mackay's comments because I rated him as a professional and a manager before those comments. Is he on about the Steve Tanner who basically let us get the shit kicked out of us for 90 minutes? I don't remember one bad challenge on his players? How can he claim we're dirty anyway? We have the biggest bunch of pansies ever! There was this one huge challenge Hudson did on Buckley, I think it was, which was outstanding but 100% fair.
