Spot on chopra. I said this before a few times the team need us more than ever we need to put them above our own little agendas for the good of our club.

It’s always been a two way thing the players provide the effort and entertainment the fans the backing .Far too often this season the performances have been pathetic which has led to a non atmosphere

Hmmm

A few days ago Chopra was given a job as an ambassador for the club and now he says this?

I agree that fans need to turn up and I'll definitely be at the last four home games.

But interesting timing from him.

It's so hard for our fans base. The true supporters have had the joy kicked out of them with years of miss management. The glory fans will watch prem football instead. They may watch a Welsh derby but that is for the spectacle rather than being a fan.

Chops played in a time where we had ambition and were knocking on the door year after year. Now it is a very different time.

He is right though, we can’t change the management or the board but can make a difference to the atmosphere.

I just wish there was a spark somewhere in the club to give us something.

When Brum went down they went down with new owners and optimism. Look at them now and they could easily get back to back promotions.

I know its never going to happen but I'd throw silly money at cooper give a long term contract and back him even if we get relegated!! Have a plan to bounce straight back in case.

I know it's not going to happen but that would ignite the fan base.

He needs to have a word with the players about what the fans deserve. Play for the shirt and give 100% as bare minimum. I think fans have been more than fair home and away over the last couple of seasons. The football has been shocking apart from a few games.

Noise doesn’t win football matches. Us cheering “the boys” on doesn’t negate the awful tactics and lack of basic footballing skill.

So if Chops in his new ambassador role is telling us to turn up and create an atmosphere as it means points (which it does), then why is Nash allowed to do everything he can to ensure there is no intimidating atmosphere for the oposition?

Artete recognised this and made it a board issue and this week, Jim Ratcliffe said exactly the same in his interview with Gary Neville on The Overlap. Watch it as he is very specific on addressing this as a key component of their new stadium.

I can't believe the other board members don't see what Nash is doing and how out of his depth and out of touch he is, especially when high profile football people are all highlighting the importance of creating an atmosphere.

What a shame we don’t have a similar ownership model to Germany. That would lead to much more passion for the club regardless of where you’re standing.

Exactly Ned.

He is now just another one under the umbrella of the club.

Unlike Jay Bothroyd who has come out with the statement "I dont Recognise the club now" and has questioned the recruitment department. I doubt you will get Chopra saying anything like that now.
