I dont think its offensive , it's a bit antagonistic with the timing and I don't agree with it but it has a sincere message as people are feeling persecuted for being white at the moment.

All they are saying is white lives matter

They are not saying only white lives matter

Just asking people to realise that white lives are in danger aswell

Sounds a familiar message

This is what happens when you push a agenda down peoples throats and try to force them to act against there own feelings, they have set this country back decades with the actions of these BLM protests

I think we have a massive problem in this country now which was not there before sadly.

Thomas,

Your opinion is virtually exactly the same as mine.

For me all our lives matter and let’s stop all this BLM and just all be equal and we can respect each other, I feel BLM are starting to divide the UK badly.

It's not often we agree lol

My big fear is when fans are allowed back into grounds , if the players are still wearing those logos and kneeling I think it will cause a lot of problems in the stands as people are very vocal and passionate about this subject.

And it will have nothing to do with racism it will just be people standing up for there freedoms and beliefs whatever they are individually.

Burnley are "ashamed and embarrassed" by a banner reading 'White Lives Matter Burnley' that was towed by an aeroplane over Etihad Stadium during Monday's match against Manchester City.

The aircraft circled over the stadium just after kick-off in City's 5-0 win.

Burnley and City players and staff had taken a knee in support of the Black Lives Matter movement moments earlier.

"Fans like that don't deserve to be around football," Clarets skipper Ben Mee told BBC Radio 5 Live.

Defender Mee added: "We're ashamed, we're embarrassed.

"It's a minority of our supporters - I know I speak for a massive part of our support who distance ourselves from anything like that.

"It definitely had a massive impact on us to see that in the sky.

"We are embarrassed that our name was in it, that they tried to attach it to our club - it doesn't belong anywhere near our club."

In a statement, Burnley said that the banner "in no way represents" what the club stands for and that they will "work fully with the authorities to identify those responsible and take appropriate action".

"Burnley strongly condemns the actions of those responsible for the aircraft and offensive banner," the statement added.

"We wish to make it clear that those responsible are not welcome at Turf Moor.

"We apologise unreservedly to the Premier League, to Manchester City and to all those helping to promote Black Lives Matter.

"The club has a proud record of working with all genders, religions and faiths through its award-winning community scheme, and stands against racism of any kind.

I'd put good money on saying they can. I'm certain they know who it was and they'll ban them - that's at their own discretion.

Those who brought BLM into football stadiums are the authorities, totally different.

Sadly there are still enough racist people in this country and another reminder that they are unwilling to accept the change that minority groups deserve.

Should apologise to Skidemin - accidentally deleted your reply to me which said "are you saying white lives don't matter?"

A genuine mistake by me so I apologise. My response below...

No, I'm not saying white lives don't matter at all. Nobody is saying that. All lives matter, that is obvious. But black people and ethnic minorities have faced a prejudice that I haven't, because I'm white.

What they are asking for is to be equal and, whether people like to admit or not, they have never been equal in society.

I hope that soon we can get to a place where everyone is equal, but I'm not expecting it.

all lives matter and to the vast majority it is obvious.... and to suggest otherwise is down right offensive mate whether you like it or not....I really do not think anyone that saw the GF incident knowing he dies at the end thought it anything other than horrific.. id have been equally horrified if it were white man, black cop or any combination...

This World has gone potty!

I don’t like this BLM (it’s my opinion), every single life matters and we are all equal. I’ve faced bullying, sexism and racism (being overlooked for positions) because I’m a normal white guy!

It makes one feel disappointed however I’ve never felt I was entitled to something because of my gender or colour. It happens to thousands of us every day.

Giving people positions or anything they don’t earn just because of their gender, race or sex won’t be the answer. It will be the Worlds downfall.

The problem is the last few weeks all we have heard is Black Lives Matter, morning noon and night, with protesters smashing memorials etc. However on Saturday a Libyan kills 3 white people and injures others and yet no one is protesting about it.
