Hes a decent rotation player and could grab us vital points coming off the bench. Hes nothing more than a chancer though in my book. Someone who you bring on and hope its his day. If it isn't well you were losing or drawing anyway so nothing changes.

For a free I dont mind but honestly can't see how he would he improve on what we already have. Will just be a squad player so I'm hoping he wont be on much

I can see the sense in it. For me, he's probably better than people like Bradley Johnson and the other midfielder that Norwich signed from Leeds and look how they went on to be decent in the Prem.

You also have to get players that "IF" we were to be relegated, they make us a top 2 team automatically the following season. Mcgugan is one of them.

The few times I've seen McGugan play against us, I didn't see anything special in him. Would he have got into our starting 11 last season? (If obviously we had signed him last summer).

Central midfield, our lowest priority in terms of strengthening the squad. Any names of strikers or defenders you would like to suggest?
