Argyle fan in peace - charity event - 2 tickets v Ipswich

Postby Pilgrim Pete » Fri Feb 09, 2024 6:51 am

Hi all,

As the title suggests I’m an Argyle fan in peace. I have a voucher for two tickets v Ipswich available as I wrote to the club to let them know about a challenge I am taking part in next both. The club were great and have sent me a voucher which can then be swapped to tickets by the new owner. I was hoping for a small donation by somebody and I could then email them the voucher and contact details at the club to arrange the ticket collection.

So ! What am I doing?! I am raising money for a local cancer centre https://velindre.nhs.wales/velindrecc/

Here I go again!! Its been three years since the 24 hour charity walk around my garden (that was a hard 89km!) This time I am looking at an unsupported attempt to cover 100km across the Arctic Circle in 7 days, whilst raising much needed funds for Velindre Cancer Centre. Those of you that know me and that have supported me in the past will be aware that I suffer with some meaty blisters!! I have no doubt this challenge will test these and my mental strength to its limits. I know times are currently hard but I also know that pretty much each and everyone of us out there has been affected by cancer in some way shape or form, lets work together to fight this awful disease.

Thanks for giving me the time on here. Best of luck for the remainder of the season.
