there wont be much happening here in january window- Malky

Sun Dec 23, 2012 9:46 pm

Seems an odd thing to say given so much speculation, I hardly see bringing in 2 or 3 quality players spending a few million
as a '''quiet january''
IMO it sounds like another year where we wont get much happening january

It is clear in the last 2 games We are not the best side in this league and we will need to spend to win this title.
we're only half way there and the difference between being sat top of the table and being sat 6th or even 10th has been the run of luck,

'Much' is the key word.

Things are happening. 2 players in and a loan isn't much business to be honest. There will be teams signing 4 or 5 and loaning players to try and get in the playoffs or stave off relegation.

You refering to me?

Im just being honest not biast, I'd love to see us demolish sides or say we look like a top team away from home ''but we dont'' there have been good games, and bad games

We've done very good but There are certain area's that you have to flag up as a concern, one being defense and another being strikers, if bellamy is on rest or injured and something happens to helguson it pretty f*cking grim up front, considering our league standings citygent

Like most managers they all say this because they want some privacy for the club.

He can't mention his buisness really.

He doesn't even like doing business in January, he's said it on loads of occasions. But Maynards injury and needing cover for full back doesn't give Malky much option. If we didnt need extras in those positions nothing would happen, we are goin to have quiet Januray's when Malky is with us.

Half way through the season we are the best team in the league. If we have problems i feel sorry for the other 23 teams.

I think it would be a lot clearer to the rest of the world if Malky said I have a £12million do or die war chest....

Malky plays the game, why anyone listens and hang on to every word of this chaff baffles me.

If you are Charlie Austin's agent what is the best way of maximising your "clients" earning potential- Get to the promised land, "THE PREMIER LEAGUE". Not many premier league clubs gamble on championship players, they like to buy proven British players or cheaper foreigners. So you need to get yourself into a club that has genuine promotion credentials, just to prove yourself.

A long way of saying I bet we get 2 or 3 good players in this January.

Not really.. He has a list narrowed down.

What do you want him to do? Chuck names out there and say we are close to get this guy in.

At least this way it puts the media out of the way from getting information on players that close to signing and then they chuck it out there and ruin it for us.

MM is doing the right thing and thats just keeping everything private.

We lost out on players and thats down to the media letting the attention of clubs in.. then they have the advantage with wages etc.

What do you want Malky do to?

If he tells the media he's looking to bring in three or four top quality players from the Premier League in, but injury to others prevents said transfers, it's going to look bad.

For example, injuries at Newcastle prevented Vuckic from extending his loan stay with us.

We're top of the league at Christmas. Trust the man.
