nice country pub outside Leicester

Hi all

looking for a pub outside Leicester off the M69.....decent food and child friendly.

any suggestions gratefully received

There a harvester just off the m69 and if that's full has another pub right next door to it. Or you could take the exit for a5 and go to Lutterworth there a really nice pub in bittelswell called man at arms. Great steaks.
That's about 30 min drive from ground then

Or if you come in to Leicester there a beefeater, harvester nandos a few other all on same retail park. That's on out skirts of city.

There Toby Carvery as well in Enderby as well as the vicerage.

If I was you I'd avoid going to Hinckley it's a shit hole.
If you want any other places know of loads let us know.

Best place for parking mate and then a pint?
Normally go by bus, but last time I drove I parked to close to ground and took ages to get away

It's a nightmare every where near the ground every game especially now with Xmas. If you don't mind the walk I'd park in city centre at highcross about a 20-25 min walk then. No real pub friendly pubs but loads of. Ice places to eat in st peters square at highcross shopping center.
Also it's pissing down in Leic at the moment.
