Ive been to Libya.
Tripoli was generally ok and had fantastic 5 lane motorways (but hardly any cars).
The poverty I saw in southern Libya was shocking. Every 20 mile there was makeshift police checkpoints.
I have been to Kenya, Haiti and even Moriston but sub sahara Libya was the worst.

I would guess external debt (2 points on the graphic but basically the same thing) and then maybe university degree (although 25% seems pretty damn high so maybe not).

The money related ones are just stupid.

A lot of it is bullshit yet Im sure some of the stats could be true but only tell half the story
Like electricity is free. I wonder how many have it in the sub-saharan 'towns'.
The literacy one again could be true, I was in Ghat and all the kids were walking to school. They looked and dressed like kids here going to a smart school in their uniforms. Yet the road they were walking down had an open sewer running down the middle of it.
It was a really strange place with such contrasts.
