TEAM v LEICESTER

I can see Malky picking this...

I'd like to see Kim start personally but think Conway will get the nod again for now.
Both Cowie and Kev were terrible last week - so bad that even Malky might drop them
Connolly should go back to right back with Huds back in.

Going to be a tough game.

-----------------MUTCH--------GUNNARSSON-------------

---NOONE ------------WHITTINGHAM-------KIMBO/SMITH/CONWAY

---------------------------BELLAMY---------------------------

the team i think malkey will play !!

-----------------------MARSHALL------------------------

CONNOLLY-------HUDSON-------TURNER-------TAYLOR

Bellamy is far more effective when he plays on the left of midfield. I would drop Noone for this game as his form of late has been poor in comparison to his early season form. I'd partner Helguson with Mason for this one.

---------------- Marshall---------------------
---- Connolly - Hudson - Turner - Taylor ----

Conway - Gunnarsson - Whittingham - Bellamy

----------- Helguson - Mason -----------

I would rather see Gunnarsson return in the centre but as has already been said I suspect Mackay will stick with Cowie.

I hope I am proven wrong, but Jordan Mutch looks useless. I know that sounds blunt but having seen him play on a number of occasions I've got to say he offers very little. Now I know he's just returned from a long layoff but at times he looks incapable of making simple passes (Derby and Peterborough spring to mind, when looked worse with him on the pitch than off it). The only thing he seems to do these days is get booked! I would much rather see Gunnarsson play, who overall, is a far superior player. Perhaps I'm being a bit harsh on the boy, especially given his fitness levels may not be 100% but he vastly needs to improve.

Did I read somewhere that Cowie took 23 minutes last week to touch the ball?
If that's true then no wonder we lost the upper hand in the midfield battle. Gunnar a must for me. If he really has to, the bring Cowie on when he tires.

Bellamy has been bollock on the wing. Striker is a great position for him in this division.

I agree, especially away to Leicester, we need wingers who will track back and people like Bellamy who cn counter attack.

Bit confused why he would drop Noone.. he hasn't dropped form. We were all suprised by his great performance because we haven't seen a winger like him for a while which was all new to us.. we are getting use to him now.
