Gunter,Graham,Rickets, etc , Who is coming home?.

Thu Dec 20, 2012 1:33 pm

Could one of these be the Player coming back to Wales (played or were born ) all fit the criteria

Defenders
Chris Gunter - not getting game time at Reading
Nathen Blake - apparently lost a load of weight and not getting much game time at Palace.
Sam Ricketts - Bolton in financial meltdown and need to prune wage bill as parachute payments nowhere near enough to satisfy premiership wage bill ,this was well documented before the season.
Neal Eardley - Blackpool not getting much game time out of contract June 2013
Glen Loovens - Real Zaragoza not getting much game time .

Midfielders
David Vaughan - Sunderland not getting much game time
Joe Ledley -Celtic I believe the attraction of Premiership football could clinch this signing , could this be the Marquee signing?.
**Aaron Ramsey (loan) - albeit a longshot Arsenal Mr Wenger has made it clear he will be dipping into the transfer market come January and with the size of his squad some players could find themselves dropping down the pecking order a loan deal with a 48 hour recall clause would make sense .

Strikers
Danny Graham - Swansea - plenty of speculation and a possibility .
Scott Sinclair - a long shot but maybe a long deal until the end of the season.
Jake Cassidy - a cheeky bid could tempt Wolves.

Long shot
Adam Matthews - Celtic
**Aaron Ramsey.

Players who were not born in Wales or played for a Welsh club include so cant be classed as coming home.
Steve Morison ,Hal Robson-Kanu, Simon Church, Sam Vokes, Michael Owen, Craig Davies.

We'd have a job getting Nathan Blake. He retired about 7 years ago

Darcy on the other hand...

There have been a few clues to this:

1. A definate signing that will convince everyone we are serious for promotion.
2. Bellamy influence.
3. Someone coming home or back.
4. A striker.

Now the only one who fits that bill is Gareth Bale. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. So I just don't have a clue who will tick all the above boxes.

At first I thought Darren Bent. At the time it was not considered a bridge to far but since the criteria has been published he only does 50% above. The only other strikers that come to mind are Kenwyne Jones and Frazer Campell, against 50% aboves. Just got a feeling it couldbe one of the above 3.

Or of course it could just be a load of bollocks designed to just get extra hits on this website

May as well be Nathan.... What part of malky's make up suggests he would admit that he was wrong (he wasn't) about young Darcy. With the stories my Jack friends are telling me, I can't see why MM dossier people need to be employed if they allow that potential car crash happen.

Cameron Jerome?

I really don't think we need anybody.
Maybe at a push a fullback (although I think John is deserves a chance in place of the inconsistent Taylor).
Unless we sign someone like Kenwyne Jones, Owen or Crouch all of which would put the ball away for fun in this league.

However, all this talk of a striker does my head in when we have a million pound player who can't get on the bench.

Pretty sure it was said he was an attacking player rather than a striker specifically.

I think its Scott Sinclair - attacking player, just left Wales, and Bellamy played with him at the Olympics!

Perhaps it's not bollocks then.

Is it someone that is Welsh and/or played for Cardiff or Swansea? If not is it possible it could just be one of the team GB players? They did play in Cardiff a couple of times and did a lot of training here? Just a thought, could be completely wrong. Have no idea who it could be but i'm excited :ayatollah:

Scott Sinclair - seriously? Get a f*cking grip on reality. Can you honestly see him dropping down to the championship with the amount of premiership teams who were sniffing around him? Plus he's shagging that bimbo from coronation street. He's not going far.
