I think from reading the thread that AJ is asking why the new signing would be "another robbie fowler" because he stated in his first message it wasn't Owen.

Good point, just read it back and think you're right.

Tbh I'd rather sign hard working players and not marquee names.

We did big names before and look what happened then! Hard working and honest teams always seem to be best.

The name makes no difference to me, I just want a couple of good players to fill in the gaps.

Only thing I think will happen is Malky will have a buyers budget similar or better than Pre season.
Simply because Tan and his cronies know the jackpot in prem next year is increasing and worth the risk.
