whats going on at chelsea ? (dont read if not interested)

they have some world class players, a huge wedge to spend, a big fan base yet they are struggling and havnt really set the world on fire the past couple of years ?

not just tonight, on about this season and seasons before this, since jose left they dont look like a top side to be honest

Since Mourinho left they've been to two Champions League final's (something Mourinho couldn't achieve). I know what you mean though, I think their league form has suffered these last couple of years though because of their obsession with winning the Champions League. I thought having won it last season they would've prioritized the PL. In their defense though, this was always going to be a transition season for them, they've let a lot the 'old guard' go over the past couple of years and are trying to bring in younger more technically gifted players into the team. They've been hindered by the fact that they're trying to blood young players in and change their style of play at the same time.

They Haven't been the same team very organised under mourihno ,
they have some fantastic players at the club but
they haven't got the balance right or the pedigree of a consistant world class side.
that is extremely hard to master especially when you chuck millions at young players

I've never understood why they sacked Ancelotti. He would have been far more effective at enforcing a change than AVB or RDM were.
