If the Palace game is a sell out...

Wed Dec 19, 2012 4:55 pm

which would seem to be the case with just 150 tickets left, then it just goes to show that the appetite is already there from our support, regardless of prices. Many have used high ticket prices as an excuse for low crowds, however, we will have more non-season ticket holders through the doors than at any othet time this season and thanks to the dynamic pricing system, they will be paying the highest ticket prices up this this point.
It tells me that if the games catch the imagination enough then people will find the money from somewhere, that's why our crowds will explode when we get to the Premiership. :ayatollah:

Sales looking decent for Millwall as well, probably get 22,500-23,000 for that, the masses are waking up! :ayatollah:

Yes Ian but it was a two legged game in which we were the eventual victors after penalties....and we have beaten the Jacks in a packed stadium ;)

It's nice to see that for the bigger games and hopefully games in the new year on wards more fans are coming. It makes sense considering early on in the season anything can happen and in the spur of the moment it's insignificant. I expect to see from January to the end of the season about 23k per game, with hopefully a few reaching the max capacity. Our final few games of the season at home will probably average that without a doubt.

And to the person who mentioned an obsession with the support: The players NEED the support more than ever. If there isn't larger crowds attending games it doesn't bring enough desire for them to want to win. Also, bigger crowds= better atmosphere, which is much better for us, and as stated before, the players.
