My BMW Synter lounge day experience

Mon Dec 17, 2012 12:46 pm

Took the kids into this via the cheap upgrade. I could see from our Level 4 seats that our seats in the family stand had been sold on.... so quite chuffed about that.

After dropping some presents for the big wrap off to the elf in the club shop we got into top deck about 12.15pm as I wanted to order food from the Grill and didn't want a massive wait. It was very empty and we were 1st to order. Took a table in the main eating area next to the window and we watched the players arrive as we ate. The food itself was very good, 2 main meals and a kids meal, pint for Dad, bottle of coke and bottle of water...just over £25 the lot - excellent value.

They has sky sports on half the TV's and CCFC player on the other half....everyone kept happy there. Even though it started to fill up there was no problem getting served. Loads of space up there and all the other facilities were pretty decent. They had a speaker on about 2.00 with Roger Gibbons and Mark Hudson was up there as well. They were more than happy to sign autographes for everyone and have pictures which was spot on. The kids wanted to go outside to get autographs but the weather stopped us, so at least they got Mark Hudson !

Great view from the seats which were opposite the 6 yard line and nice to have a bit of padding for a change. Just went in for a warm at half time. After the match another bit of speaking from the stage and a chance to wind down. Still loads of people in there but not overcrowded.

We left about 5.45pm and just happened to bump into Craig Bellamy in the car park- more than happy to sign the kids free programmes/team sheets and have a picture....the kids were in their element. Thanks Craig and Mark.

All in all a fantastic day with only the obvious thing to let us down.

Just to mention the big wrap....we dropped stuff off just after 12.00 and there were hundreds of presents already there. Massive well done to all.

So if anyone if thinking of trying this lounge area out I would thoroughly recommend it.
