The fact he is an arrogant pr*ck could be it.

Wiggins actually has a personality unlike most nominees.

^^^^^^^^^^^this

Murray should have been the winner, but he was never going to be this year, as he's a Scot and there were too many English people who had done well enough to be in the reckoning.

If Henman had done anywhere near what Murray's done this year though, he would have won it by a country mile.

I'm the same. Agree with the comment that he's arrogant.

Why? You just have to look at the way he was holding the microphone... Somebody needs to tell him that he's not Paul Weller.

Murray deserved it, no question. People say he's got no personality, but it's because when he did make a joke a few years ago.. All the papers plastered him for being "anti-English" when he was only making a joke!

Head up his own arse. Having confidence is one thing but he has to much and sprouts s**t.

Couldnt disagree more. I think he is a very shy man, who is not comfortable in the public eye and just want to get on with things.

Wiggins > Murray.

I didn't really give a shit, but thought that Wiggins or Farah deserved it. The right guy won.

I like him, he's funny.
My dad is reading his autobiography now and says it's great. I think the right three got the podium. Wiggo won Olympic gold just weeks after winning the Tour (granted he did have a team to help him through it all, while he didn't win many of the stages himself.), Jess won the Olympic heptathlon, therefore she's the best all round athlete in the world, IMO that's worthy of SPOTY. Murray also won Olympic gold and another Open (America wasn't it?). I can see how Wiggo won it though

My order would have been
1.Jess Ennis
2. Andy Murray
3. Wiggo
