minute silence

Just watching the real madrid game v espanyol and there was a minutes reflection before hand where they played church music through it instead of plain silence , never seen that before bit different to clapping hands or standing in silence.
Made me think as i was stuck outside the ground in the cue till ten past three did we have a minutes silence for rick wright ?
