We had a perfect chance to winden the gap, not just above Palace, but above the play off pack. But in typical City fashion we have a drop in form 1 game just before xmas and let the play off back smallen the gap to 3 points. I personally was happy to see the play offs team a a good 4 points behind us, that was more important to me than any distance we had between us and 2nd place. I just hope now like under the days of Dave Jones we dont start a bad patch around xmas and watch us fall into the play off lottery mix.
