RECORD ATTENDANCE TODAY

Sat Dec 15, 2012 8:44 pm

Of 26,073.

Beat our previous record of 26,058 in the 2-2 draw with QPR. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Re: RECORD ATTENDANCE TODAY

I have been told that over 4,000 season ticket holders, mainly family stand, didn't attend the game today which would make the actual crowd around 22,000.

Shocking if it is true given our position.

Shocking if true, although I was surprised when Ali read out the attendance. Didn't look 26k, 234 Posh fans there aswell. :ayatollah:

I think it's because there was virtually no segregation, and we filled the added section in the Ninian. Corners were full as was the Canton and Grandstand. Just the family stand let us down for people in the ground :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

There looked more family stand then given credit for. Would say about 24000-25000

It happens everywhere.Don't see what all the fuss is about.

Only an issue if we are sold out, and if we are then you'd soon see those seats full where people would be selling them on.

Yes. Superb crowds - best supported side in the league by some margin.

What's the secret ?

Management and scaremongering. We'll have 30,000 crowds after Christmas when our stadium is finally built. Our season tickets are half the price as match day tickets which means we've have another 3,000 on the waiting list which enables local people to pay as they gain points and can then apply for a season ticket. next season we'll have 27,000 season ticket holders.

Sorry, 26,500 season ticket as you got allow for %10 paying punters which then count towards the %15 which we have to give for the FA cup.

Re: RECORD ATTENDANCE TODAY

No where near 26,000 in the ground yesterday, seems to be an habit with clubs these days of counting in every single season ticket even if half don't turn up.

The club can't currently sell the ticket on though.....it's been paid for so they have to count it in the Attendance.

What are you suggesting the clubs do, guess who's not going to turn up and sell a seat again??
