Malky applauded for things that he does

Sat Dec 15, 2012 7:37 pm

better than Jones ie public relations, firm with the players.etc

but please dont cost us promotion with your stubborness towards your favourites. Something Jones was accused of.

Theres no time for sentiment this season.

Malky got it wrong today no two ways about it.

I agree, you take the pats on the back and you have to take it on the chin when you mess up which today, Malky did,
with his tactics, starting line up and substitutions.

Rudy
Gunnarson

Rudy, the favourite who hasn't started a league game this season and came on and scored today?

And Gunnarsson who has barely a started a game this season despite scoring more often than not when he comes on?

Ok...so Rudy coming on and making us better up front and gunarsson coming on and playing better at right back than mcnaughton??

Tactics may have been off but the players he brought on improved the team.

Joe Mason and Kimbo would have improved it more.

And Cowie? What did he bring today?

I agree with Polo here.

I haven't got a major problem with Gunnarson, but Cowie and Gestede.........we had much better than both of those on the bench.

Kim bo and Mason in particular would have been perfect for today's game.

Cowie fair enough. But both Gunnarson and Rudy did well today. Didnt help that Mcnaughts went off so limited his attacking options but that is poor management as he didnt get enough cover at the start of the season. His biggest mistake today was not switching Bellamy and Noone on the wings. Noone was shite all game and should have switched so he could cross on his proper foot

Did Malky get it wrong or was it just bad finishing? On another day we win that game.

I've been one of Rudy's biggest critics, but he did well today.

This is a major flaw in the way we view the side.

McNaughtons attacking options? He looks "attacking" when he bombs forward
but his final ball is shocking. We'd be better off with a more defensive minded
full-back with a bit of a brain. Malkys mistake today was in not leaving Connelly
at Right Back. Mutch will probably start with Whitts at Leicester. Jordon lost
the ball a lot today but that was borne of frustration and trying too hard to chase
the game
