Are referee's biased to us because...

We are welsh? We never seem to get a decent, fair referee. Always against us and the jacks went up on merit and with a bit of luck.

They are just not very good. We get dodgy decisions going our way too. It's a tough job, but the refs and linos in the Championship are poor.

I'm reluctant to have ago at the referees due to the fact we have been infested by players who dive to deceive the ref. However the last 2 seasons I've seen incidents that are beyond belief. I'm coming to the conclusion that that these diving players plus awful officiating is spoiling the game.

I blame the cheating player by all these imports that have come into our game. That Ngog of Bolton being the latest example. For the poor standard of refereeing I'm not too sure how this has come to this. It was never this bad when I first started watching football. Then again there were hardly any imports playing the game.

the standards are very poor compared to say 5yrs ago only need to look at borough games last season to see how poor they have become, even today radio 5live said it was citys freekick and was a diabolical decision!

The problem is the new system. There are more demotions and promotions of referees these days meaning referees who are consistently bad we end up with and those who are on form do the lower end Premiership games whilst those like Webb etc. continue to officiate the top games mostly with the odd game across the divisions.

Both divisions would be far more fair if it was a random computer that selected the games and referees just had to go with it unless they alerted those in charge that they were ill. At the moment the same referees are officiating too many of the top games leading to claims of match fixing and bias and the lesser referees just dumped in the Championship.
