Well as much as we were brilliant against Blackburn we were just as poor against Peterborough, in my opinion they deserved the win and if it wasn't for Marshall we would of lost a lot more.

McNaughton - 2 - Terrible game and I love mcnaughton, so disapointed.

Helguson - 5 - missed two glorious openings but battled well

Mutch - 3 - did nothing when came on very poor

I think Mcnaughton has lost it but then the way he has played all through his career it was always going to be a struggle to keep going into his thirties.

Well lets be honest that was a disaster, completely out played for the vast majority of the game. Yes the referee was truly awful (once again) but I think thats a weak excuse tbh. They just wanted it more, they got to all the second balls and fully deserved all three point and we were lucky to not be on the end of a thrashing to be honest. The team just looked so lethargic and for some reason our heads just dropped, we got a goal which was disallowed and then they scored and you could see the players faces, it looked like they felt it was going to be one of those days. So many players having off days and so such bad decision making
Most of my annoyance come from when we were 2-0, I understand we would be a little open at the back trying to go for a goal but we naively seemed to have no one in defence, not much in midfield and next to no one upfront, where was everyone, we had no shape and until Rudy came on we had no plan either.
Lets hope this serves as a wake up call to them, we have some real top games coming up. I don’t want to lose any game but the next group of games coming up are vital.

Marshall 8 a clear MOTM which is pretty sad really.

Kev 3 awful, his passing again unbelievably bad but I still wouldn’t have took him off, although we didn’t concede again I think we missed his covering pace.

Turner 2 WTF

Connally 2 WTF

Taylor 4 started well but defence were all over the place.

Noone 5 worked hard but like many others it wasn't his day.

Whitts 4 I dunno what to say, he was going through the motions today, started off brightly but was soon chasing shadows.

Cowie 3 Ran and Ran but we didn’t really need that today, we needed some strength and quality in the middle.

Conway 6 worked hard and made some cracking defensive challenged.

Bellamy 6 Thought he did alright today, but a few good balls into the box but the quality up to the front two was extremely poor

Helguson 4 Had nothing to feed off but didn’t really get involved until late on.

SUBS
Gunnarrson 5 – I just couldn’t see the point in this sub unless Kev was injured
Mutch 4 – Came on and looked lethargic to me, some poor decidion making as well.
Rudy 6 – Made the impact needed but sadly it wasn’t enough.

THE DISSALLOWED GOAL
Now I don’t know if it was or wasn’t offside but someone has fcked up somewhere. Whoever scored the “goal” should never ever ever be offside from a free kick in that position and I find it hard to believe they were. If he wasn’t offside then thats one major fck up from the lino. If that goal had stood I think we may have seen a different game

MY FINAL MOAN – BALL BOYS
They are fcking shit, we are 2-0 I expect them to be sprite, alert and ready and not sat down waiting for the ball then taking ages to go get it.
