Crazy thing is we lost £20m last year and planning for £25-£35m this year which is about 25% of their losses but we only make 10% of their revenue. So putting Cardiff on the same revenue for comparison purposes we would have lost £200m last year and planning for £250m-£350m this year. Whether you agree with the gamble or not it shows how much of a risk the Malaysians are willing to take.

Doing a comparison is pointless its all hindsight!

The FACT remains that (when) we get promoted the outlook on the finances will be completely different, and plans for the future will alter not only because it's inevitable but also because it HAS to!

Not sure why this is a sticky tbh, because the losses Man City have made are all serviceable and is like pennies in a bank account to those owners!

Correct.

People say man united have worse debt than us as it stands at £360m, but it isn't as their income is around £330m p/a. Their debt is 112% of their yearly income. Believe it or not, that's actually manageable.

CCFC has an estimated debt of £94m and growing, with an income of £14m which is a scary 680% of income. The scary bit is 110% of that income goes on wages alone which means that net debt will only, and can only, rise.

Whilst I agree that the club`s debt is far too big for the level of income it earns , I can`t see where you get your debt figure of £94m from or your income figure of £14m.The principal is right , just the figures look wrong.
