raise between programmes and adverts..? With mine it normally happens on the BBC so is it when they switch from National to local programming..?

Programme and adverts is an advertising technique to make you pay more attention when the adverts come on.
As for National to local I'd guess it's differences in the way its broadcast.

Its more on BBC so its mainly advertising other BBC programmes rather than product advertising.
