Peterborough will be a different test to Sheffield Wednesday

I'm not necessarily stating this in ability, but playing style. Sheffield Wednesday were well organised, put 10 men behind the ball and came for a point. But I believe Peterborough will be totally different. I think Peterborough will play open and attacking because they are incapable of sitting back and defending. Peterborough over the past few seasons have always been a near certainty for the "both teams to score" coupon. They always scored and conceded, as that haunting 4-4 draw proves. But over the past couple of seasons, Peterborough have lost their good attacking players such as Mackail-Smith, Paul Taylor and Emile Sinclair. This season, Peterborough are struggling to score as much as usual, but they still have George Boyd and Lee Tomlin who are both very good attacking players at this level. Grant McCann is also a quality centre midfielder who is lethal at free-kicks, he's nearly as good as Whittingham and I will be very worried if he's lining up a free-kick just outside the box.

Saturday will not be an easy game, that's for sure. Peterborough will attack us and create a few chances and it will be up to us to keep it tight. I can see Craig Noone in particular getting plenty of space and joy on the break, capitalising on Peterborough's cavaliar style. I will be surprised to see Peterborough being negative like Sheffield Wednesday and putting 10 men behind the ball. I can see Saturday being very end to end and the pace of Noone, Bellamy, Mason, Conway etc will be a huge threat for us on the break. I think Peterborough will attack us and it will lead to a very exciting game. If we can keep up our very good defensive record at home, I can see us scoring a few and even winning 3 or 4 nil. But we can't be naive or disrespectful. I believe Peterborough's last game was a 3-2 defeat against Middlesbrough. Peterborough can still score against any team in this division and we should write them off at our peril.

Peterborough will score, but then for each of their goals you will get 3 IMO.

You better not fvck this one up Cardiff!!

Like the 3:1 ratio.
Strange how fans of other clubs support you when you play their rivals.

I can see how you would be gutted losing to us, then we lose to Peterboro. :ayatollah:
