Christmas

Thu Dec 13, 2012 5:15 pm

Christmas is coming...

What's everyone's views on it?

Personally, I can't stand the religious or commercial aspects of it, but wouldn't change it for the world because of the 'family and friends get together and get wasted' part of it.

You don't have to be religious or wealthy to enjoy it. Just drop everything for a few days and enjoy yourself. Love it.

I love it. Best holiday of the year by a mile.

As I've got a bit older I like it less. I'm much more of a summer person, I prefer to be out with my mates able to wear shorts and tshirt. But instead by the time I finish college it's dark and my day is over. And it's not as if I can go down the pub either :(

Saying that i'm only 16 so I'll be the Scroog by the time I'm 25

Preferred it before it got rebranded as the festive season all decked out in red coca cola vans.

I remember when all the Father Christmas outfits were blue.

Shame, shame ;)

Not that bothered.

All a bit hypocritical really, when people claim they don't believe in God etc. but celebrate his birthday..

Good for families though.
