I have always been proud to be British,my country right or wrong,always my country......but now after studying the recent census findings,how long will it be my country?...how long will it be, before white Christian British is in the minority(you haven't got to believe in an all seeing,all hearing super entity,to believe,like i do in Christian values,how long will it be before there will be more gay couples getting married in a church than heterosexual couples?,how long will it be before there are more Mosques than Churches in this green and pleasant land?....how long will it be before there are ten or more Eastern Europeans going for the same job you or your son or daughter will be going for,the same Europeans who will work for slave labor wages remember,how long will it be before we are foreigners in our own land?....now i dare say there will be some on here,who couldn't care less,as long as they got their football on the weekend,and if there lucky,they get to shag the wife,or somebody's wife,once in awhile,and there will be others on here who welcome Britain becoming a multicultural country and will tell you that the different cultours can only enhance,enrich the fabric of our society.and will sleep soundly in there beds,but i for one will be dreading the results of the next census...........now if what i have written makes me a racist so be it,but in the words of John Lennon..............."but i know im not the only one"

I am firmly in favour of multiculturism.Always have been and have never sat on the fence on the issue.

Jobs should be given to the best person for that job , whatever their race , colour or religion.That applies to people from other countries relocating (by legitimate immigration) to the UK or to British people seeking work abroad.I have personal experience of job candidates from abroad (particularly the Far East and Eastern Europe) having far better numeracy and literacy skills than more local candidates and also a better work ethic.Then the unsuccessful candidates moaning that they were British but lost the job to a foreigner even though the local wasn`t good enough.

What I don`t believe in is positive discrimination - giving a job to someone from a minority group just to statistically get the numbers up rather than on merit.Also I think just employing someone because they are the cheapest labour available (e.g. some of the growers in the East of England , some companies in the hotel and catering industry) rather than pay a fair rate for the job is totally wrong.

The one most important issue about immigration, which never gets mentioned. Fact is there are massive amounts of people coming here simply to live off our benefit system.

There's a house just by me with 3 Polish families living in there, as they have done for a few years. None of them work or intend to work. They don't need to work. And trust me no one looking for work would ever come to where I live. No one!

Merthyr is full of Polish all of a sudden, even the Big Issue sellers have lost their pitch to Eastern Europeans. They keep telling us that people are coming here to do the jobs we are too lazy to do. Well if you were living in Poland and decided you were going to move away to find work, where on the list would Merthyr fecking Tydfil be?

If on the other hand you wanted to move away to live off the UK's easy touch benefit system Merthyr would be number one, top of the list.

Even those who are working are dipping in to the system. I know this woman from Newport who works in a school there as an interpreter translating for those pupils who cannot speak English. She's employed by the council and quite well paid. The problem is her very own son claims off the same council to be her interpreter. And it isn't even regarded as fiddling, it is perfectly legal for them to do this.
