Cardiff City Football Club is delighted to announce that Ben Turner has put pen to paper on an extended contract that keeps him with the Club until the summer of 2016.
Having signed for the City from Coventry in August 2011, 24 year-old centre-half Ben went on to make 43 appearances last season, scoring 3 goals.
On finalising the deal this Wednesday afternoon, Ben spoke exclusively to Cardiff City Player, saying: “I’m very happy to be staying at Cardiff City – this is where I want to be.
“The attitude at this Club is spot on – we’re trying to go forward as one and everybody is working very hard together to make that happen.
“I’m delighted to be extending my time here and I’ve enjoyed every moment from day one. I know that’s what people may expect me to say, but I genuinely mean every word. I want to play at the next level now and feel I can develop into that player at this Club.

Great news! With Malky in charge I can't see another cock up like Ledley, Bothroyd or Mathews happening where our best players leave for nothing.

Good news and more importantly we seem to be on the case with contracts so we won't end up letting people go on free transfers
