Positive spin on the re-brand

Wed Dec 12, 2012 12:47 pm

Some of our supporters have commented on here that they feel that other clubs' supporters think that we are a joke for accepting the re-brand, however could you not also argue that many other clubs' supporters may actually take their hats off to us for carrying on supporting the team in spite of this re-brand. Our crowds have not gone down significantly yet and coming up we could well sell out over the next 2 games, surely many outside the club will see that as undying loyalty to the club, under very testing circumstances. :ayatollah:

Loyal supporters stick with it through thick and thin and good as well as bad times, that's where the word loyal comes from. :ayatollah:

I don't know about other clubs, but it's how I see myself.

Spot on Gwyn, although I've reluctantly accepted the rebrand and I never get into a debate about it, I will always support the team and never turn my back on them. I class myself as a very loyal supporter and no one can say any different.

If you are still supporting the club then no, you still are a supporter.
If you don't go and support the team, then you are not even a supporter I suppose. :?

Oh, maybe I should log off...

Or maybe it's because I have not been in the country for the past year...

Even so, I would not step foot in the stadium even if I was home. Will travel away when I get home in January.

For the life of me I really do NOT understand that statement, "I would not set foot in the stadium even if I was home" but yet you will go to away games and put money into another clubs pocket.
That just doesn't make sense, it's the same team fella, home or away, the same Cardiff City football club, home or away, the same Cardiff City in red or blue.
The rebrand also hurts me but I will never turn my back on the football team I love.

I won't be putting money into a dictators pocket thanks. Besides... We have plenty of money now.

Also, travelling away is a much better day out than a home game.

Ok that is your choice and I do respect that but I will agree on your last point, I love away days :-)

Not really because deep down you love bluebirds. I hope one day you have a different view and also support the team at home! Unfortunately it's going to be RED for a long while so just compromise. One day if or when it goes back to blue.. u can tell your gandsons you have been through all this process :)
