Will December Derail our Challenge?

Sun Dec 02, 2012 9:12 pm

Our December looks like this:

Blackburn away
Peterborough home
Leicester away
Palace home
Milwall home

I can see us taking all the points at home but none away with the crucial game being Leicester.

Is it too early to call it a six pointer? I don't think so and if we pull of a win there it will propel us on to win the league.

Do I think we will win? It will be tough. Malky will go defensive and we all know how things go away from home when we try to play that way.

For Black burn, Mutch is out but we have Noone back so the net affect is probably a wash. Again, Malky's tactics will decide the result.

So all in all, probably 9 points out of 15.

Blackburn on hot and cold form at the moment, depend what team turns up, they lost to the inform Millwall etc so we can go out there and get a point, we've got Noone back as well, really need him for pace and creativity, we'll have to look out for Rhodes.

Peterborough, I'm doing something that I might regret but I can see a cricket score, they've lost loads of players, bottom and having a meltdown atm.

Leicester - hard place to go, might lose but think we can get a point.

Palace - think we'll proper go for this and get the rewards, Holloway's team have to hit a bad run sometime soon.

Millwall - may draw this but I think win because we'll be in good spirit

would settle for 8 points from the 5 games, good enough to keep us in the top two

A 50 % return? Hmmmm, think we need more than that.

why do we NEED more than that?

we get 8 points from 5 tough matches and we will be in a similar position to where we are now, absolutely fine going in to January. Anything more than 8 points will be a bonus for me.

3 wins and 2 draws will be happy with :) still gettin the magic 2 points per game and be on 51 points before the new year, to me that should guarntee the top 2 if we have 51 points because it isnt going take the biggest of points to get automic. the cruical period is january and what players we get in, 2 defenders and 2 strikers would b nice

I'd take 10/15 considering we're 6 points clear and expect other teams to mess up over December :ayatollah:

Mosy of us probably would have. Home defeat a shock and away win a very pleasing shock.
