A forum for all things Cardiff City
Thu Nov 29, 2012 6:09 am
Its official. Starts here.
Leeds were given a free trip here, treated like human beings. Their foul club have
shat on us in return. f**k the early-kick-off, f**k the extortionate prices, f**k the
bullied at school fat stewards. A proper boycott will have far-reaching consequences
for Leeds. We could start something here. Other Clubs may follow.
As for supporting the lads? Well on this one occasion, the players will forgive us, they
are not daft. They dont want to see their supporters treated like shit. I'd love for the
Club to just send every ticket back and say "f**k you"
No away supporters will lead to no atmosphere. No atmosphere can only make it tougher
for the Home side.

How much for the tickets Dave ? But I agree a horrible club and that is being kind. And to make it high profile that we are blocking this game would be fab. But better to is go and we all just stay in the pub. The old bill would still be needed but what a message that would send out.
Fooking hate Leeds they are scum.

I think they're £36?
I'm back now and this is one i'd definitely go to but f**k em!!! Trouble is, by staying in a pub
or whatever, we would all still be under the jurisdiction of the Yorkshire scum coppers and if
they chose to, they could just close a pub and leave everyone outside in the cold for two hours.
Boycott it. Make it public across all football forums
Leeds will suffer

Agree - stay away and make it very high profile. With any luck Sky will pick up on it and pick it as the live game as they love a bit of controversy. Leeds and SWP have no reason for this heavy handed approach and as suggested, the costs will still be incurred even if no city fans go. Time to teach these time warp bullies a lesson - its as if the Hillsborough report into their actions never happened and they have licence to continue to treat football fans as second class citizens.

Agree 100% with this. If I remember same happened last season. Every other club has come to realise that we aren't trouble, just Weeds living in the past. I'm sure if someone got in contact with the FSF they'd happily publicise it and notify other clubs to do the same. Time we stood up for ourselves.
Thu Nov 29, 2012 9:08 am
We walked out just after half time last year.
The year before the police dragged us around slowly making is 15mins late.
Treated us like shit.
£36 a ticket.
f**k um I won't be wasting my time.

I agree,

I fecking said last season that they wont give us anything in return, they're a bunch of cunts and still have a deep hatred over us for their treatment at the FA Cup game. Id love thousands of us to go up ticketless and spread across various pubs across the city with banners and all sorts of provocative things to cos optimum 'ball ache' for the police.
It is simply not fair, and yes im gonna say it....I think Leeds United FC are Welshist. They hate us with a passion, from top to bottom.
2-3k thousand ticketless fans in Leeds.....oh dear.

Good idea but we need to act now.
Who is going to take the lead on this? Someone to start up a facebook account and get the message across to all Cardiff supporters.
Also we need to contact all supporters coach organisers and get them on board.
Thu Nov 29, 2012 10:33 am
I support a boycott. Pity I will miss us getting another 3 points off the dirty scum but the restrictions and price are not worth the trip.
Even when we abide by their rules we miss the start of the game.

Vince Alm would be the right man

When Wolves stopped us going we had no fans there and we still ended up winning.
At the time their fans complained about no atmosphere.
Get this going, Leeds will suffer.

I was told the same by one of barnsleys stewards
the football league shouldnt let this happen
Thu Nov 29, 2012 11:46 am
i heard they were £42? probably wrong
Thu Nov 29, 2012 1:13 pm
Dirty Leeds. Horrible club, horrible fans.
Boycott this game, please.
Thu Nov 29, 2012 2:08 pm
Someone needs to talk to the club and tell them we are unhappy and what we plan to do
Thu Nov 29, 2012 2:17 pm
I'm all for boycotting this. I went last year, awful trip, £36 a ticket which had to be collected from services. We got into groung an hour early and no beer to drink. Treated by shit by bully boy stewards who were only trying it on because we had a small support. I said at the time I won't be going here again!
Thu Nov 29, 2012 3:21 pm
Leeds have shown they don't want us there, so why anyone wants to put money in their pockets beggars belief. They are a club living in the past, you will always get supporters unfortunately who can't see the bigger picture over their own silly club loyalty etc. I remember a long running argument a few years back when TLG wouldn't listen to arguments as to why it was best to boycott Leeds at the time, and attended along with a hundred or so other worthy souls. Now, look at him, can't even bring himself to follow the team because we changed our shirt and badge.
Thu Nov 29, 2012 3:52 pm
There is no point unless its all for one and
One for all which it wont be as just like last time
The supporters club will not boycott it so you will have 200 odd there like that other time when the rams didnt go whatever happens, individual and group boycots are noble but in theory also pointless as leeds clearly could not give a shit.
The only way to stop this shit is for the club to
Refuse the tickets.
Thu Nov 29, 2012 3:55 pm
If the FSF get on it and publisise it more before tickets go on sale, fans who don't use forums may hear about it and be put off buying tickets. Hopefully we take about 100 at max, it's inevitable that we'll take a few, I can't see the club refusing tickets
Thu Nov 29, 2012 3:58 pm
Fully agree we are still being penalised for events at that infamous game at Ninian Park.
BOYCOTT IT AND DONT GIVE THEM A PENNY HOPEFULLY SUPPORTERS OFFICIALS CAN STOP ANY OFFICIAL BUSES AND
URGE FANS NOT TO ATTEND THIS FIXTURE

The best scenario would be that the club refuse tickets or hands them back, with an explanation that the large majority of supporters feel once again discriminated against and enough is enough. The return fixture next year, should we be in the same division and the club bend over backwards to welcome Leeds supporters, even giving them a slight price reduction over other travelling supporters, which would make them feel extra special. This would really show the Leeds supporters, how bad and out of touch their own club are and will have them questioning and pressurising their own board. We would own the moral high ground and show them how small minded they are.

i agree we should all boycott this game its wrong that we get treated like shit every year we go up there place,
Thu Nov 29, 2012 5:21 pm
Agree 100%
Thu Nov 29, 2012 5:23 pm
Completely agree, but it won't happen. Some fans will still go.
Thu Nov 29, 2012 5:32 pm
PROPERLY BOYCOTTED, NOBODY WILL GO.
Somebody with a voice should contact CCFC and tell them to send all
the tickets back to dirty Leeds, to back up Cardiff City supporters.
The Club would go for it I reckon
