True. This could be best season of all and we are breaking records as we go. If people choose to stay away then it's their loss - they will never be able to rewind and get these times back

If we have to be top of the league and playing a game of significance for them to be arsed to grace us with their presence then they aren't true City fans and I couldn't care less if they come or not. Rather 22,000 true fans than 26,000 with 4,000 glory hunters / plastics

It's not as if those 4000 you talk about have never been before, as with most clubs we have an element of supporters, quite a large element in our case, who only attend a fraction of the games, but would justifiably say that they have been supporters for over 30 years in some cases. My brother for instance never missed a game back in the late 70s early 80s, but then started playing Rugby, he has now gone back to watching the odd game, I'm sure there are many more like him. I have a group of friends, about 10-15 all living outside Wales, who followed Cardiff for a couple of decades, but got married, had children and stopped going, but they would still class themselves as loyal supporters. These types of supporter will return for the odd big game. We have plenty of supporters like the examples above, who have watched the team through the worst of times and will probably only return when we reach the Premier and the added incentive that unfortunately only the Premiership seems to hold for certain fans these days. That is why I have no doubt that we will get crowds of 35k on a regular basis in the Premiership.
