Not trying to be funny but the west ham stats are irrelevant as they went up via the playoffs

and rightly so because if you hadn't some smart arse would have piped up and said;
'where's West Ham?

'
Good work finding this. Very interesting. Lets hope we end up going up.

Just thought people would be interested.
So, to add to this, how about the season before?
The top three:
1:QPR:38pts w10 D8 L0
2:Cardiff 36pts w11 D3 L4
3:Swansea: played 19 games: W10 D3 L6
8:Nowrwich: 27pts W7 D6 L5
........ So the moral of my post seams to be...... bugger all can be seen from past tables.
From my digging. Teams with 37 points or more at this point have got promoted since the 2008 season.
2006/7 no team had 37 points at this point.
All three teams in the 2005 season at this point were promoted. They were 44 ( Sheffield) ,41( Reading) and 32 (Watford)
Only one team had more than 37 points in 2004-5 and they were promoted.

Looking good.

Those horrible draws last year --most should have been wins
Much better this year
I thnk this is Malky deciding we might as well go for it if we are losing or drawing with say ten minutes to go
Throw on Gestede Bellamy etc --Push up --may as well try and win rather than draw .
Two pints average from each game and we will be there
Trouble is weve been top to many times and Blown it

Interesting stats, which make Reading's achievement even more amazing. Could another Championship club do the same thing this season???

No offence - and I'm not an alcoholic - but I prefer more than two pints at each game.

i think both leeds and bolton (who are in roughly the same position as reading were) will be up there at the end of the season.

I don't think what Reading done will be repeated again, 17 game unbeaten run was it? NO chance.

I don't believe we had the quality in depth, to turn last seasons draws into wins!
