FINALLY, THE MONKEY IS OFF OUR BACK

I was concerned that if we had lost today then it would have set in the minds of the players but thankfully two quality corners from Whitts ( and there were more than 2 ) we got our victory in Blue

To be honest it weren't the prettiest of football from either side but today I don't care

It was an open game and the chances that Helguson and Kimbo had could and should have put the game to bed long before Barnsley got a consolation goal.

But tonight we are top of the league and hopefully now the monkey is off our back we can kick on from here

Not sure about the monkey being off our back just yet ,but we certainly needed to get 4pts from our Barnsley and Derby games.
Our last 6 away games have given us 6 pts and we needed to improve on that ,as we would eventually drop points at home.

I think we can go on run now. The pressure is off a bit so we can forget about the away win. I would take drawing our next 3 away and wining at home till the end of December. We could do with a nice unbeaten run. Start making people look at us as a real threat. We weren't even mentioned after the Derby v Brum game as contenders. Didn't even show our game.

This obviously racist title by Carl is just another example of "The Man" trying to "keep
