Why do fans need someone in football they can bully?

Nationally we see its Suarez and Terry.

Within our own club its Cowie or Taylor.

Why? Why? Why? Can't we just get on with things and admit that many players dive, many players swear, many players run at referee's, many players use discriminative language, etc.

Why do we need to as fans victimise players all the time? Just making them scapegoats for an overall larger problem?

Am I the only one who thinks it says more about the person giving the abuse than it does about the footballer?

slightly wrong, Wayne Bridge wasn't Terry's best mate, and Bridge wasnt even with the girl at the time they had split up.

I would have done the same thing as Suarez if I was playing for Wales or Cardiff in a knockout game like that. Pride for where you belong comes before what others think of you.
